Employees are a key determinant of an organization’s success and are often the “representative/ face” of the organization to its stakeholders. Hence, maintaining a well-trained, well-qualified workforce is a critical function for any organization to be successful. To spearhead this function, the Commission has a dedicated unit called Capacity Building Division (CBD) which develops innovative approaches and strategies for capacity enhancement of the employees and takes up programmes which help employees in improving their performance and achieve organizational objectives.

CCI invests in its officers and staff by providing training and skill opportunity to them. In house as well as outbound training opportunities coupled with intellectually stimulating programs such as Special Lecture Series, Distinguished Visitors Knowledge Series and Peer to Peer Group Talks enrich training environment.

To keep CCI officers abreast with development in Indian Economy, CCI invites distinguished/ eminent personalities from different walks of life drawn from government sector/ regulators/ corporates/ academicians etc. to deliver/ share their knowledge through an interactive lecture under the series.

Network of Indian Competition Experts (NICE): With the objective of facilitating multisided flow of knowledge and information in the field of competition law, economics and financial analysis, a network of experts named NICE has been constituted under the aegis of CCI consisting of 50 experts from 35 premier academic and research institutions of India.
